I see you can use this code and get J class to Lax for $4500 including Perth which not too shabby. Seems to be next year outside of holidays.

I've noticed a lot of Biz Deals to USA lately on all carriers for bookings 45 to 60 days advance, and due to route overcapacity, and far less tourists from all countries choosing not to visit Trump's Nirvana, think that will continue I feel for some time. $4,500 does not get me personally excited to LAX.

I booked to HKG for under $A1,500 a person round trip inc taxes in Virgin "The Biz" and for 2 pax family pooling with a free domestic connection worked in, that yields 640 status credits, and a lot of miles into the account. The deal still works for those needing a few cheap SC.

Under half what it was without the promo code. Paid by Amex just to be sure it stuck!

Saw RT in Biz to Dublin last week for about $A3500 all in too, far better deal than to LAX, but they seem to have now vanished from the system sadly as I meant to book it when I saw it. A TON of SC on those.

The Amex deal was near useless for most domestic economy routes I found, but saw a lot of $400 type Biz domestic which were $800 or so otherwise. So many thanks again to Bagpuss for having the sense to add the direct link into this obscure thread.

Booked us today for Nov and Feb no issues and I assume any dates to mid year were fine - everything I looked at had multiple availability each day, with flights in and out of origin cities routed via either SYD or MEL.

Best Virgin SC deal I have ever seen.

Phoned and tried to sweet talk an agent into forcing an extra domestic connection leg in, and she was very helpful and tried, but computer added $600 to do that so did not bother! Saw a lot of SYD-ADL Biz fares each day for $400 on the Amex deal that get 50SC each so even those were far better deals.

Another Plat agent even changed my outward flight at no penalty to earlier flight as leaving only an hour connecting into MEL domestic then to HKG can cut it pretty fine in mornings with security and possible inward flight delays.

Allegedly only on sale to midnight August 31 as promo T&C states, but who knows with Virgin!

Play with the Multi Trip function and seperate of the MEL-OOL bit if your Mel based.

Expires in 15mins be quick.

Might be avail other regional ports, similar offer has been done before. Didn't have time to search

Of course, no flights out of Hubs qualify.

You need to be starting ADL, CBR, HBA, OOL etc, and probably works from many others - did not bother to check them all, but weirdly Virgin then fly you to a hub anyway in Biz, hence the 640 SC per couple booking. Gotta think a tiny bit outside the box in life.

Yes it has been sub $A1,500 round trip from most non hubs for weeks, on every day I looked at. No idea why folks here were not all over it? Best Virgin SC deal I have seen in years .. and a lot of points too! AND nice A330 planes, and a decent destination too!

Yes I fly MEL-HKG in May but have the domestic runs in Feb and July.

Sadly out of time to get the right dates I needed before midnight... if I knew what to look for earlier, I would've jumped at it! Oh well.

I can't remember another promo quite this good, so hopefully another one soon!
