I logged in and did not get the offer. As a potential work around I then used the link boomy provided, still no dice. Probably something to do with the Amex WP QF and VA cards I have.

I had the same issue, it wasn't in the VA Amex account as an offer, but I signed up using this link:
https://offerenroll.americanexpress.com/enroll/EnrollmentSitePage?offer=852271qantassept15

Now it appears in my Amex account as a subscribed offer that's applied to my card.

I have enrolled my 3 amex cards and have confirmation emails as well.

I was incredibly tempted to book one of the flash sale fares (SIN or BKK) last night, but will need to spend a few days thinking about what to do. Currently thinking WLG in December, HND in January, and maybe somewhere in Asia in April/May, but also keen to seek out status retention opportunities ;)

The SIN and BKK flash sales ended yesterday (4 September), unfortunately.

Yep I know. I was up late last night deliberating but decided to let it go. The AMEX promotion is good for another month- I'm sure there'll be more sales.
Meanwhile premium companion sale to Japan and Kia Ora sale are looking good!

The linked worked for me. Thanks for posting! QUOTE=pythonisman;1306634]I had the same issue, it wasn't in the VA Amex account as an offer, but I signed up using this link:

Did you purchase a flight or a flight voucher?

Well yes, but we're looking for the aforementioned guinea pig. :p

Bullet point 6 of the T&Cs says no! So no guinea pigs need to be harmed in the taking of this special.

Technically not possible, but previous AMEX offers with similar T&Cs with regards to gift cards have been reported to be successful.

So flight vouchers are the same as "gift cards" for the purpose of this promotion?

The link in My Offers doesn't work just dumped me back to my statment.
The direct link above (manually inputting details) does work.

Same problem with the HICAPS offer.
Anyone have a direct link for that??

I'd think so.
I tried to be a guinea pig for this earlier today and realized somewhat belatedly that I'd used the wrong Amex   :D
Oh dear! This is where BA's 24-hour free cancellation period would come in really handy.

Unless the offer's already been maxed out, you should just be able to register that other Amex and still have it count... I don't think registration necessarily has to be completed before the payment. At least it's worked for me before...

  • Card Members must register by saving this offer to this Card and spend $350 or more on flights on their registered Card online only at Qantas, in one or more transactions, between 04/09/15 and 04/10/15 to receive one $50 statement credit.

Awesome !! I'll give that a try.

As mentioned a few pages back I registered after booking a flight. Still got the credit! 01441659417.png

One of my amex earn the bonus points for qantas spend when purchasing gift vouchers.
Buying a gift voucher also triggers the free QF club visitor passes that some AMEX offer.

Technically not possible, but previous AMEX offers with similar T&Cs with regards to gift cards have been reported to be successful.

It shouldnt make a difference, the voucher is a PNR without an actual flight. Don't see that AMEX could spot the difference.

Purchased a voucher and a flight so combined have spent over $350, no email confirming my spend yet which is strange. Normally any offer is "logged' straight away and an email sent.

Will update on the progress

I had no email from the Dan Murphy's offer recently either but received the credit so I don't think the lack of email means that much. Similarly, any transaction done as an offline contactless transaction at a retailer didn't trigger the emails either.
