Rewards points from my transactions of the 20th caught up yesterday (26th). Maybe totally irrelevant but the rewards postings are in a different order to the transaction postings. Just pondering whether it points to some "non-standard" processing.

Points still stuck but they didn't hesitate to take payment from me :p
 
I have points all the way through to the 27th.. don think it has been used since then, but will be in about 15 mins when i check out of the hotel in Melbourne before heading home to Sydney..
 
I notice the points for my AMEX Credit Card have credited now, but not for the Charge Card - hopefully they'll filter through on Monday too.
 
Mine posted today which was good...

However the public holiday delayed my payment and interest was charged! :oops:

Why is it though that Amex take so long to process payment? Can't we just bpay it??

You can, and indeed that is how I always pay mine.

As soon as I receive the emailed statement notification, I set up the BPay to pay automatically.

Alternatively, you can also for example set up your Amex to auatomatically be paid by setting yourAmex preferences if you wish to be sure that your payments are always ade in time.

For BPay payments it doesn't matter how long Amex takes to process the payment. Under the BPay T&Cs its when the paying institution processes the transaction that matters and Amex has to accept that. Like hummel I schedule the BPay payment as soon as I receive the statement. Just have to make sure the payment is on a business day since Amex has the due date on a Saturday or Sunday from time to time.

I stopped using the card companies automatic payment facilities since they usually like to grab the funds early - such as four business days prior to the due date.

Membership rewards points have posted up until 28 Jan 2011. So all appears to be back to normal.
 
Thanks guys, currently setup for 'Pay Bill online' thing were it is direct debit.

Will look into Bpay as that's how i much prefer to manage the card.
 
28th for me. Which was a car service so gave me some nice points :)

I hoping my bonus 20,000 magically appear with the others...:D
 
Anyone got the same issue? None since the 9th for me... and no purchases either!!
