I would like to throw in my link as well!

Increased referral bonuses for all cards.

Up to 150,000 bonus points:

That bonus will be worth even more if you open a US Amex card and transfer to that account! Ask me how!

Scroll through the card types if you prefer a different card.

I will receive 10k points for any card you apply for.

All I can say is finally! Having just received the 100k QF points with the NAB card & wanting to diversify from a reliance on QF, this will be a great option to boost my portfolio so to speak and will probably use them with SQ.

Effectively 60k airline miles in 1st year, 15k in 2nd year.

Or approx 90 k miles in 1st and 20 k in 2nd if you transfer to US Amex MR before transferring out !

Most have explained how good the American Express Explorer card is, the travel credits and the Amex offers pretty much more than offsets the annual fee.

The referral link offers you an upsized up to 150k bonus points. (120k in first year, and 30k if you renew the second year)

I get 40k bonus points if you use my referral, which I would greatly appreciate. If anyone do use my link, please advise and I am happy for the next AFF-er to get the next referral.

This has been my 'go to' AMEX card for some time now. Points transfer has so many options, including Marriott Bonvoy, Air New Zealand, Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Hilton Honours. Of course 'warehousing' your points is a great option too.

The current bonus offer is around the best I have seen for this card. Sign up now and you can earn up to 150,000 points if you spend $3000 within the first 90 days (120,000 points after the $3000 spend and 30,000 more if you keep the card for 1 year).

$395 annual fee is offset against the $400 travel credit you'll get after paying the annual fee to use via AMEX travel.

Tip 1: You'll get the $400 travel credit after the end of the first statement when you've paid the first annual fee. But you can access a second $400 travel credit for free. At around the 11 month mark another $400 travel credit will be loaded to your account in anticipation of you renewing that card for the second year and paying the $400 annual fee again. You can use that second $400 travel credit immediately (for future bookings) and then cancel your card before actually paying the second annual fee.

Tip 2: Don't forget you can add up to 4 supplementary card holders at no extra fee to maximise those cash back opportunities (eg small shop).

Tip 3: Subscribe to this AFF thread to make sure you don't miss any of the cash back offers: New [Amex] statement credits

Thank you for considering using my referral link (I may earn a reward from this):

Just checked my partner's card and she actually has a higher referral bonus of 60,000 points if someone applies using her referral link. So please disregard my link and use hers instead if you intend to. If you have used hers, please do inform me so I can update for next person to use another AFFer's link.

Now we’re talking! Have been waiting very patiently for a decent Explorer sign up bonus and it’s finally here. I will use someone’s link when I apply in a month or so.

With the 25% bonus transfer to Marriott Bonvoy happening until 30 December I am now prompted to apply for this Explorer offer earlier than I had intended. Assume AMEX still credit the bonus points immediately after the transaction that takes you above the spend requirement?

Is anyone with an Explorer referral link interested in a DJs Amex? Would be happy to swap referrals, if so shoot me a private message. If not no problem, I will pick someone at random when I apply later in the week.

Ok, I’ve signed up, provided a very happy forum member with a fat referral bonus so now I’m going to throw my hat in the ring again here and post my referral link for what is quite simply, a superb card – The AMEX Explorer Card!

The big sign up bonus is back so what better time to apply than now! Sign up using a referral link, and you'll earn up to 150,000 points (as a referrer, I'll earn 40,000 points for each referral made).

My referral link can be found HERE

Details are: Receive up to 150,000 Membership Rewards® Bonus Points when you apply online by 27 January 2021. You’ll receive 120,000pts after spending $3,000 on your Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership and a further 30,000pts if you keep the card for a 2nd year. Card comes with a $395 annual fee.
Other key highlights:

· $400 travel credit for American Express Travel (book flights, car hire and hotels online - I've found AMEX competitive when compared to other major online travel booking engines) - (offsets the $395 annual fee)
· The usual suite of insurances are provided, including Smartphone Screen Insurance when you pay for your phone / contract with AMEX (for up to $500 repairs).
· 2 x invites to the AMEX Sydney International lounge are also on offer.

I signed up to this card in early December and it has been nothing short of fantastic. I’m not a big spender by any means but with an earn on spend of 2pts per $ on almost everything I’ve seen my points balance increase at a pretty quick pace. Add in the $400 travel credit which more than offsets the annual fee and the continuous stream of AMEX promotions and this becomes a no brainer.

As many would know Mrs NoName and I have gone on a few trips to the US & Europe and have chronicled our journeys pigging out on a few trip reports. Well we were meant to be doing another one as we speak which was obviously abandoned. Looking to reschedule for next year with the MIL coming along for the ride. If you enjoyed my previous trip reports and would like to help make another one possible then a sign-up through my link would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for helping me produce another instalment of fun, frivolity and gluttonous food consumption!

This thread was a good reminder. My 18 months was up. Easiest approval for a while. Immediate “preapproval”, uploaded last years notice of assessment and then approval txt received the next morning.

Seems Amex just save their awful customer service for after you’ve gotten the card!

Kindly note this offer is only valid for applications made by 27 January 2021 so not long before you need to apply.
I'd like to throw my referral into the ring for consideration.
The same card benefits and conditions as previous posters. I may receive 30,000 bonus points for the referral.
This is MY REFERRAL LINK - Click here
Thank you for your consideration.

Personally this is the best value for money card I have in Australia. I have been holding this card since it was released back in 2016.

You will receive up to 150,000 points (120,000 + 30,000 if paying an annual fee for the second year), I will receive 60,000 points. Offer ends January 27.

I have held this card for 4 years now and it's still great value I think I will hold for a few more years yet. Solid points earn (not as good as past but times have change). Travel insurance is respectable. I also love the smartphone screen insurance and for a couple of claims on that plus the purchase protection type insurances Chubb have been good to deal with.

$400 travel credit offsets the annual fee nicely.

My referral link; I would receive 40k points and referee would receive 150k points (120k in first year, 30k upon renewal). Offer open to 27/1/21.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

A reminder that your time is rapidly running out to get onto this card for potentially a massive 150,000 bonus points. The current offer ends January 27.

In addition to the 3 (hopefully useful) tips I offered here Amex Explorer Card - up to 150,000 bonus points, I wanted to add a 4th tip.

Tip 4: Sign up to a fee free AMEX card (eg The Qantas American Express Discovery Card) at the same time that you sign up for this Explorer card. One of the significant benefits of AMEX can be the cash back/small shop promotions. The more cards that you have for these promotions the more you can potentially benefit. So if you sign up for the AMEX Explorer card and get the 4 free supplementary cards on offer, you'll have 5 cards in total. But if you sign up for a fee free AMEX card and get an additional 4 supplementary cards for that new fee free card, you'll now have 10 cards in total for the same annual fee of the Explorer card! Worried about having too many cards at the same time by applying for this fee free card as well? It's not the number of cards that you should be worried about, it's the total amount of credit that you have. So just specify a very low limit for this new fee free AMEX. Say $1000. Of course having this new fee free AMEX card will count for the 18 month exclusion period. So remember to cancel the fee free AMEX card at thee same time you cancel the Explorer card. The 18 month period will then start for you. Having 10 AMEX cards can hopefully be of enormous benefit to you.
