The EK F kit you've posted here looks slightly different to the one I picked up early last year on DXB-MEL.
Is it still Bvlgari ? The one I have is a lighter shade of brown and looks slightly larger.
Contents seems the same though.
I still haven't recovered from CX changing their amenity kit provider from Ermenegildo Zegna to Aesop lol just months before my F flight with them. From top shelf creme de la creme European to bottom of the barrel Aussie lol what a joke. A mate of mine just flew SQ Suites and reported that they've downgraded their amenity kits from their previous Givenchy class product so downgrading of amenity kits is not a practice just limited to CX.
As for EY lol that is beyond a joke while it had decent contents but they unfortunately went for a "traditional look" (read: cost cutting) and in effect the actual case looks like something my 4-year old niece weaved together in kindergarten.
Which airlines give the best amenity kits these days in F ?
EK I'm a big fan. My wife loves the red QF F bag. And from what I can tell AF looks top notch, and Garuda not far behind. Any others that are notable ?
For me the design of the kit isn't really important - the packaging rarely reflects the brand (Rimowa is one exception).
I think the quality of the contents (lotions, potions and eye-mask) is more critical. For that reason I was quite happy to change from Acca Kappa on CX (they make hair brushes!), and away from Ferragamo on SQ (they make clothes!). Aigner and Bogner? Well, neither of those are famous for their clothing. Not so sure how Bvlgari stacks up. They're also a fashion house.
Givenchy? SQ's economy class amenity kits were Givenchy branded. Not sure if slapping 'Givenchy' on a garment means it is a true reflection of the brand. (Although PYE PJs for CX are a partial exception.)
