Just booked STN-BLK-STN in January. Just in case you're wondering, I lived in BLK for 25 years, so maybe not so weird.

Total cost (incl taxes, etc, etc) GBP 13.50.

Puts our local carriers to shame, I think.

BTW, the Ryanair sale's still on (www.ryanair.com).

Some of NZ's daily grab-a-seat sale fares are getting close to that level ;)

There is no competition locally. How do you spell collude?

You know it is a joke when you have to pay $300 return SYD-MCY on JQ!

Absolutely (have you ever flown Ryanair?).

Instead of getting a sh.t seat, you can choose your own. A bit cheaper than QF, too, I think.

So what's so wonderful about Qantas? (the miles are a joke, and don't forget I've been a Qantas FF since 1985).
