Hi folks,

Anyone had any experience of charges not showing up in a timely fashion in online banking? Paid a hotel bill in India two weeks ago now and it still hasn't shown up! I only recently changed over to using my altitude card much, if this happens regularly it will be dumped very shortly :(. Other, non-Indian charges made since then appear to be showing up just fine...

Unfortunately this is reasonably important information - I need to find the exchange rate used so I can put in an accurate expense form to my employer.

my amazon.com purchases and domestic purchases have all been credited within 72hrs of making them. That is awfully fast; my other CC only credits at end of month with the paper statement. This is with the Black Altitude Amex.
Hope you get yours sorted out - ring Westpac?

Nothing yet, but my best guess at the moment is that the problem is on the merchant side.

3-5 days with me. Especially if at a weekend.
Only talking London in July August 2013 so can't speak for India
Sounds like the delay may be at the hotel end, which in Europe (for hotels) last year was 7-9 days.
Is this something to do with the "hold" that they put on your card for incidentals or damage??

Confirmed this was a vendor in my case - charge was put through last night. It's already reduced my available funds, will report back how long it takes the transaction itself to show up.

Update - charges appeared 2 days (3 nights) for me after the merchant fixed the issue, pretty much normal for international CC spend.

Cheers,

Danny
