ALL QF's 330's to get lay flat Business seating - Including Domestic

I am monitoring the seating layout for my trip to HKG in Feb. Currently booked via SYD in J and will have no hesitation in changing back to QF 29 if by (very slim) chance it will be an updated J class. Fingers crossed.
 
By chance, I stumbled upon QF35 on 19/01/15, showing the updated 1-2-1 seating in J on an A333 on EF. Hopefully it stays there.
 
Adding to the above, I can track it back to QF35 on 15/01/15, but since neither QF30 or QF36 on the day before has the new config, I guess we can safely assume that the said flight here will be the launch on the international side of things. Checking for a few days, it seems that QF35/36 will be getting the bulk of it, although I spotted a rotation to QF82/81 on 1 day.
 
woot!!!!! my flight on QF81 (Feb) has changed to the new 1-2-1 config!!! But they lost my seat reservation (I had 1A) and now it's all blocked :(
Return flight still old config :(

As always, stay vigilant for config swaps as you don't want to end up in some random seat due to the config ping-pong.

The aircraft is set to fly every day (for the first 10 days at least), turning around within hours of landing each time, so if it gets any sort of delay along any point, you may lose the new config. I also see QF82/81 getting a few more rotations towards the 2nd week, loosely following a MEL-SIN-SYD-SIN-MEL pattern. Not sure when they'll have a 2nd aircraft available but probably won't see them in HKG until after Chinese New Year - eg. some BNE flight are already overbooked in Y despite it being 2 months away so I can't see them reducing the number of seats on these routes.

Seems to have been delayed - Current plan is for positioning QF6111 BNE to SYD on Wednesday, with QF575 first operation on Boxing day.

581/582 on Xmas day NOW to be operated by R.

FWIW, it's due to arrive into MEL on Saturday 30 minutes after the departure of the last 763 operational flight departs.

This seems to be further delayed - Wednesday's flight has been NOOP'ed and replaced and re-timed in the schedule.

First operation I can find is now on new year's eve ...

David on AusBT has suggested a similar delay for the press flight.

Tomorrow's QF6111 BNE-SYD has been deferred to the 30th and re-timed to 6pm - I suspect that'll be planned as a media scrum.
 
that's disappointing, I had booked the QF497 syd-mel on the 28th which had been showing new seat map :(
 
QF769 on 3/1 which previously was showing new seat map is now back to the PE style. Will still hold out hope for another equipment swap.
