Yes, I must admit I frequently feel like this too. Particularly when I've started watching a movie and I get interruptions every 5 minutes.

I think its a hard call. If engrossed in a movie having to pause then take off the headphones constantly can be annoying.

It's compounded by the fact that it's non-trivial to pause the movie. At the moment, I need to loosen my belt to get to the screen to fiddle with the on-screen controls. Or use that iPad thing with various menus and screens.

Simple solution: a big, physical pause button within arm's reach. Oh, and a big physical volume control too!
