ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

Is it possible to use the Stay Plus benefit for two rooms on a single night, getting the cheaper free, rather than for one room for two consecutive nights? And if so, how do I make such a booking?
if you have 2 stayplus, can book 2 times, so 2 room 2 night on same date.. but sometimes the hotel cancelled 1..

ACCOR PLUS REFERRAL PROGRAM AT THE MOMENT - can anyone help me to know what the current promotion is for referring a friend? I think they are running a $50 dining credit - but can't find a link to it. thank you in advance

Yes correct, $50 dining credit for both. I think it's a unique link to everyone though. I had it sent in an email

I think it is targetted though you could call and ask.

Thanks so much - I will call.
I can't find it anywhere.
I couldn't when I looked a couple of weeks ago after it was mentioned up-thread. I had received a phone call, that's right a phone call, asking for the names of 3 friends to refer and for which I would receive an additional year Explorer membership. Apart from the security / privacy aspect it reminded me of WW2 when people were asked to give up their neighbours. No, I am not that old but read. I called Accor to confirm and was told it was a current program.

I received an email with a personalised link that I’ve sent on to friends.

That was in addition to the resign up offer of 2K points (mentioned up thread). I did that on the 21st and nights and bonus points posted same day.

Hi,
I have a couple of questions if I may.
I have an upcoming Accor four night stay in London booked and paid some time ago.
Staying there to meet friends and normally always stay IHG or Hilton.
Now keep seeing ads to join Explorer.
If I join now will I be able to use free night offer on already existing booking?
If I join now will it run through till end of 2027?

If you join now, you must use your free night and check out before 31 July 2027. Free night is subject to availability and is valid in Asia & Oceania countries only.

You can’t use a Stay Plus on an existing booking, it has its own rate that isn’t always available.

You also can’t use it in London. As @aikman noted.

Thanks for your answers.
Our traveling is mostly Europe these days.
OK so I can't use a free night in London would I get other benefits that would make it worth the $349 with possible one night stays in Scotland and Ireland that haven't been booked yet for September trip?

Here are the benefits of explorer. Only a few apply outside Asia Pacific & ME. If you have ambitions to get to Platinum, join, but Accor 'status' recognition is poor in Europe.

Thanks Roo. Found recognition not so great always in Europe for Hilton and IHG

Explorer is an APAC (+UAE) program, so apart from the questionable discount there is not much to benefit from, Voyager gives the same discount at a lower price

Was the additional year of Explorer conditional on your three friends subscribing, or simply for you passing on their details?

If the latter, I reckon I could come up with three people I dislike. 😉

EXPLORER + vs regular ALL CARD - Basic Question - probably a bit silly - I still really don't understand why I have 2 separate ALL cards - one is ALL Gold Member (gold card on my App) and one is ALL Accor + Explorer subscription card (black one on my App). Seems like I have to show the Gold one to get my 30% off, etc, but if I don't also show the black one, the points don't get allocated. I believe they are linked, but ??? The last 8 digits are the same (though one has a 9 after it, and one has 0 after it). Can anyone explain this?

Two seperate programs with different benefits. Use you ALL card for status benefits and explorer for this benefits ie dining/discount. The ALL card will change number with status changes.

How confusing. The staff don't seem to understand this at all at the various places I go.
