ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

My A+ is due for renewal later this month. I have auto-renew turned off and received an offer of 2000 bonus pts if I renew before expiry. Which recall is common?

Should I run with that or are there potentially better offers?

I don’t have any Accor bookings in the next few months.

If you can’t wait until Black Friday ( usually ~20 to 30% off) then I’d snap the bonus points.

Comes down to your travel in the next few months and if need status nights to get over your requal threshold.

Yep, I could possibly hold out until then. I have a stay prior but it’s in Sth America, so no extra benefit.

I don’t expect to get past Gold, so no pressure there.

“Murphys law” I’ll let it lapse, miss out on 2k points but then could use a free night for a future booking next year so end up signing up with no extra perks…🙄

Bonus points offers yes but I don't think the membership price has been discounted since the new structure started last October. Any price discount from now on will be a first.

I got that too @Flyfrequently with the same reaction! Plus I got 2000 rewards points to renew. I wonder if the numbers for this are dropping since the enhancement of dining discounts and free nights?
Yes I got the same offer as @Flyfrequently and @Seat0B
Also my renewal is due in August. I have turned off auto renewal. I noticed with auto renewal they give a $50 discount.
@Seat0B with the bonus 2000 points, do they also offer the $50 discount?

Yes I also wonder what the response has been since the change in the dining discount and free nights. I did get a recent survey from Accor

Must check my auto renewal @ellen10
Think I turned it off. 🤷‍♀️
Have a November renewal wondering if Black Friday could have an offer, will worry about that another day.

@ellen10 I paid $349 for renewal which seems to be the rack rate (so no discount). But 2000 points is worth EUR40 (about $65) so better than the $50 discount if you can use the points - which I definitely can. I think I had my auto renew turned off but don't recall.

Thanks @Seat0B I just checked my subscription. It says $399 and $30 off for auto renewal = $369. My auto renewal is off so hopefully they may offer the 2000 points for renewal. Interesting in my account profile subscriptions it says renewal is 200euro, which certainly isn't $399 Aud which is up to the 31st August.

Mine was $349 in May.
