ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

Another newbie question from me. Looks like I will qualify for Accor Platinum for the first time in August. I am planning a trip in November. Will I have Platinum Status for breakfasts and Suite Night Upgrades by then, or not until 1st January next year?

Once the 60 nights/14K points hits, you'll be platinum and get your first 2 SNUs (plus lounge access, and breakfast in the Asia-Pacific). It will then last until the end of calendar year 2027. :)

Having recently dropped from elite HH status, I've decided to try climbing the Accor status ladder for a change of scenery.
I noticed a current Qantas/Accor promo offering 5k QFF points bonus for purchasing an ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership for business', where you either have an existing, or sign up for a QBR account. The link to the promo is here - https://www.qantas.com/business-rewards/en-au/earn-points-on-business-expenses/accor-plus . And TBH, a couple of years ago they were offering a 10k points bonus so I signed then too. But have since let my Explorer membership lapse.
After paying and signing up again this week, I have been advised by Accor that I am not eligible for the 5k points this time, as I am not a 'new' member.
There's nothing during the Accor+ Explorer sign-up/payment process that states you are not eligible for the bonus QFF points if you have been a past member, but Accor are telling me it's in the T&Cs, but I am yet to find anything.
And look honestly, my time/effort spent already exceeds the value of 5k points, so I'm prepared to cut my losses. It's more the principle of this typical click bait marketing these companies do to lure people in that gets my nanny goat raging.....

Just curious if anyone else has been caught in the same boat?

This appears to be the only mention of qualifying terms:
2. Membership
2.1. Membership in the ALL Accor+ Explorer programme is available to any
individual of adult age group who:
(a) pays the full Membership Fee, in the applicable local currency;
(b) provides valid and accurate personal information when enrolling in
the ALL Accor+ Explorer programme;
(c) is not already a member of the ALL Accor+ Explorer programme; and
(d) has not previously been terminated from any previous programme
operated by the Accor Group or ALL Accor+ Explorer programme
(unless Accor Plus has expressly agreed to allow the previously
terminated member to re-join the ALL Accor+ Explorer programme).

I signed up in May: disappointed I missed out. Oh well.
