ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

A few weeks ago both counted without additional spend at the Sofitel Melbourne
That's good. I have a stay at Pullman Olympic park coming up and it's a 2 night stay using the certificate and I am needing exactly 2 nights for platinum renewal by end of December so hoping the same applies.

I recently had a 3 night stay in SIN, with 1 night being a stay plus. Posted as 3 nights.

Has anybody confirmed that the new stay plus free night on a now 2 night minimum stay is Included for status nights without additional spend on the room tab ? I believe it was assumed it would but any practical experience.?
It should do. In the old system, booking two nights with one paid would count as two.

An interesting issue currently exists in the App for Explorer benefits at the moment. This was acknowledged by the agent at the Swisshotel, Singapore during my stay over Christmas.

It concerns the Welcome Drink benefit.

Long story..... As is my usual procedure, I almost always book a room as early as possible when planning any trip. I will then check back about a month out to see what rates are then available. Sometimes the rates are higher but often, they have been reduced. In the case of the SIN booking, quite considerably and, in fact, a Stay Plus night was available when originally this was not offered. The saving was considerable. So I booked and prepaid about a month out.

However the App still believed I had an existing booking (even though cancelled) for the same dates so did not offer the Welcome Drink on the new booking. The same happened, for the same reason, with a Hong Kong booking two days later. In both cases, a paper version of a Welcome Drink was provided without further discussion. In fact, in the case of the Swisshotel, I probably got a better drink than the App may have offered.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. I understand it has been reported to Accor.

Had exactly this happen to me a couple of months ago at the Sofitel in Melbourne. Was also easily fixed by being given an old school drinks card.

I thought that the new stay plus nights (i.e. stay 2 get one of them free) would show in our accounts today?
When is your A+ anniversary date?

Presumably after you renew you’ll get 2x new Stay+?

My anniversary (paid subscription) is 31 July and my remaining Stay+ is valid until 31 July 26. I’m not expecting anything else until after then - assuming I renew.

I re-signed up in September and thought the deal at the time was that I got an old style stay plus night to use before 31 Oct and then I'd get two new style stay plus nights. It was pretty much the only reason I re-signed up. (I originally thought that they would kick in Nov, but then thought I saw chat on here about it being 1 Jan.) I really need to get better at taking screen shots of offers!

You get them based on your ALL Accor+ Explorer membership year.
Yiu would have had an old style one in September. If you used it before October 1, that was it. If you had not used it, it would convert to 2 of the new style. If you used it, then nothing
The next ones will be issued if you renew in Sept.
