ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

No real track record with the new program, but they used to pop up from time to time on the old.
thanks, maybe i'm just better biting the bullet now and locking in a stay plus night while it's available. Also saw a QF offer i'm eligible for (have an abn) with 10k QF points 3000 All points, so that's an option too.

Just checked my email and I got it too. Does that mean they were hacked and that’s why we’re getting these emails, or is it just random since we’re members?
Not a hack. An awareness campaign to advise that someone is trying to impersonate them and for members to be cautious.

I just received this email from Accor - watch out for scam emails!:

"If you have interacted with a suspicious email, please contact your internet service provider immediately for assistance"

Lol - what is contacting your ISP going to do? 🤷‍♂️

Accor+ have realised how useless their own support team are so figured anything else would be a step up ;)

I've lapsed, but thinking maybe should rejoin, qfa business offer seems ok.
Previously the single night benefit was for basic room 2 people, and got the equivalent of that as a discount when booking a better &/or 3 person room. So now when booking 2 nights, is it the same i e. charge is 2 x the nightly room category or persons I've booked minus cost basic 2 person room? The free night being the same as my paid night I suppose would be too much to expect?
Edit, not sure if I explained that well, is the free night the same as the paid night?

If you use it on anything other than a base room, you'll need to pay a supplement for the 'free' night. It just covers a base room

was wondering the same thing, so if you wanted to book a lounge access room you could? and is it just a discount of what a base room night would be?

If it lets you. Not that I've looked for lounge access, but I've seen some where any base room you like, and others offering a supplement. Being platinum, I haven't checked out if lounge access is ever an option!

Ha! i'm just a newb, joining for the discounts as we've chosen a couple of accor properties for next year, so will get gold on joining, but not expecting any upgrades. We stay at too many other brands to have enough stays for status with one.
