You only have 20 or less bonus nights at the moment, right? Assessment after today will only factor 30 bonus nights total.

There’s also an outside chance that they may reassess everyone at the end of the year based on the new criteria, but given how big the impact would be there, I don’t think they’d be brave enough to do that at the 1st assessment point; they’ll leave it for Jan 2027 to have their big cull.

Technically, yes but I’ve heard mixed feedback. Some say the 30 nights only apply to people who signed up after Oct 1st.

As for the extra 10 nights for those who joined before then… I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. Wouldn’t be shocked if they quietly skipped us on that one, though wouldn’t be the first time, right? =S

Though if you join in September like I did, they made it very clear that you’d get moved up to Gold on 1 October.

Yes - you’ll be fine. Was just concerned you might have been relying on more than 30 ‘bonus’ nights to make status and that wouldn’t have worked out

My wife's and my Accor Plus membership year ends 30/9/2025 and we decided against renewing. The Stay Plus night becoming 1 paid+1 free was the deal breaker for us.

So we were using our cards for a last time yesterday(30/9/2025), for both lunch and dinner. After paying for lunch(4 diners) with our 2 cards at around 3pm, as soon as the membership numbers were copied down and 50% discount applied, my digital card in app has changed from "Accor Plus Gold Member" to just "Gold Member", with a slightly different set of membership number shown on digital card. My wife's card was not affected at that point and still showing "Accor Plus Gold Member" and I asked her to screenshot that immediately.

Then at dinner(just 2 diners as I didn't screenshot my Accor Plus digital card before the changeover and would not get 50% off if 4 diners), when it came time to pay, my wife's account has been downgraded to "Gold Member" as well. And the waiter wouldn't provide Accor Plus discount as he said my wife's digital card showed that she is not Accor Plus member. I objected and the waiter asked us to speak to the cashier person.

Then I showed the cashier the screenshot of my wife's digital card we captured before the downgrade. The cashier asked to "update" the card and pressed on screen and found that it was a screenshot, and declined to apply Accor Plus discount. Finally I told her that the screenshot showed the expiry date of 30/9/2025 so we are still eligible to use the benefits for dinner on 30/9/2025(and having dined at the same restaurant using both our Accor Plus cards 2 days prior, proving we have membership 2 days ago and therefore should last until 30/9/2025 probably helped). With this the cashier accepted my argument and applied the 50% discount.

So no real loss for us overall, but I don't think it's fair for me to have to fight for the discount and also the outcome might have been quite different if I didn't ask my wife to screenshot her Accor Plus digital membership card before it was downgraded some hours before midnight.

They seem to be back. Yesterday seemed to experiencing “being unable to use” - ie booking wouldn’t complete due to error but then this changed to the SNU’s actually showing as “none available.”

I’m still seeing “None available”.

I still only have 1 and not replaced with 2 but it now says must be 2 nights or more. Don’t recall it saying that previously?
 
My membership year was ending 30/09 and today I’ve been credited only 20 nights instead of the 30. I thought they were meant to post on October 1? No automatic gold status either as advised in the original email.

Dates all over the place? I thought the Explorer and the Status date was meant to be harmonised.

Nothing has changed at all from my end the last couple of days. Still got a stack of SNU’s that I’ll probably “waste” and still just the 1 stay plus night showing. Haven’t noticed any other changes yet

Except you probably can’t use the stay+ at the moment.

Interesting. My app is showing no changes at all. No nights added and I’m still an “Accor Plus Gold” member with, among other things, “up to 50% off meal bills”.

Also the same - App alerted to the fact that I have retained Plat for another year thanks to 10 more days being credited - renewed Accor Plus in June so was dubious I would get another 10.

Happy with that so well done Accor!

Also now have 2 x Stay plus and an extra 2 SNU's for 4 in total.

Cannot book any Stay Plus however - nothing available anywhere for any dates - based on a few random places and dates.

I note that the Accor Plus site still has a banner up saying that it will unlock on the 1st October - so we may see Stay plus ability switched back on once the rest of the world catches up.

They just changed the status date to be on the calendar year (ie same as everyone else).
The Explorer+ date remains what the Accor Plus date would have been, no change there.

Anyhoo, I just get to look at a blank screen! So I don't know what my state of affairs is!
