I've followed up with Accor Plus support via email - for those curious the email address to use is: [email protected] ; the benefit of email is you have a written record of what was said versus a phone call where if you don't have call recording capability on your phone may be problematic.
In any event, they got back to me and indicated that I should receive the 2,000 bonus points and extended expiry date (I'm hoping they'll provide the additional 10 bonus days on October 1 but only time will tell).
