Congrats, feeling left out with my March 2106 expiry. First application with my Qantas Card expiry July 2015
didn't help by the looks of it.

Submitted another application when the first application wasn't processed after 2 weeks with the status matched Air Berlin Card expiry April 2016.

Received an email last night, they must have quite a backlog.

I have recently gained velocity hold status. In a couple of months I am flying on Thai. Does anyone know if a star alliance member will match velocity. If not has anyone received the Turkish air status match with an Alitalia matched card.

Both SWMBO and I just got matched but only until March 16. We are both VA gold

forgive my ignorance, but does this mean that a match for a Star Alliance Gold gets you a lower level than a One World Emerald?

Got status matched through my status matched Air Berlin gold, which was status matched to my Etihad gold which was matched to my Qantas gold.

This is a great game!

Email was sent on 2/Jul, status updated on 17/Jul, received welcome email on 22/Jul, and this morning checked my booking on Delta showing "Elite Plus"...

Looks like I've been upgraded to Ulisse (silver) when I look at the Alitalia website, but never received a welcome email. Oh well, happy to get the upgrade!

QF WP matched to Alata Plus until 3/16

Just seen on the Alitalia website that my VA WP has similarly been matched to Freccia Alata Plus Club. No e-mail notification received; just a different temporary card when I went to the "MilleMiglia card" page within my Profile so it's worth checking every so often

Now all I need to do is to match the Alitalia status to OneWorld and *A as neither of them have ever agreed to match my VA WP status........

I may well use the Skyteam Gold on some Asian flying, but yes I am wanting a OW match to get into QF lounges etc....anybody know the best status match now with VA Gold and Skyteam "Gold" via MM.

Yippee...just checked website and I now have FrecciaAlata club status. Hopefully it comes in handy for some potential Garuda flights in the near future. Also no welcome email or update email.

Does anyone know if they are sending out plastic cards? Because how can I otherwise use this status to match AB and TK?

On a side note: just tried to add my MilleMiglia number to an existing AF/KL booking but doesn't let me... Tried both AF and KL MMB pages, returns error as if the number doesn't match my name. Now have to call them up I guess.

They say a card will be sent once your number is used on a flight or partner. After you have logged in, there is an option to print a temporary card.

Unsure, I sent both through as my TK a had a later expiry date. assume they matched my QF WP as they only matched to the early date
