Is the codeshare only available on certain NZ domestic routes?That deal isn't great compared to the previous NZ/VA tie up.
The only benefit QF Plat/Gold gets on Air NZ-operated domestic flights is lounge access. In addition to receive this access, you must be booked on a QF codeshare that are somewhat few and far between, can only be booked connecting to/from a QF trans tasman flight and they're quite expensive as an add on (~$150-200 depending on route when the actual Air NZ fare may only be $50-100).

Hmmm... maybe there was a surge of applications since Monday. I did see alot of media outlets and blogs start to write about it from Monday so....I applied Monday morning and still no word. I had a go at reapplying and said I was already in the draw??
A more serious question than my post at #3 does having NZ gold benefits allow guest entry if using other *A carriers and the guest is on the same flight. I currently have *G through to May 21 and I think SQ has/ will extend through to May 22 but not beyond.
We are planning to get to CA in Apr 22 (CA is a a *A country) also not sure if Apr 22 will eventuate and Sep 22 may be more likely. I suddenly had a thought that I could wait until the last few days of this promotion and apply for NZ gold for my wife (QF WP) and myself (P1) then take a flight to NZ within the 4 months and achieve the objectives of the challenge. This would see us through the first year, does NZ then give out another year through to late Apr early May 23, similar to QF or are these matches fixed at 12 months.

Any idea how long the processing is taking at the moment? I applied last Friday night (I think). Still waiting but obviously there was a weekend in there.
I thought I was in trouble and resubmitted after 4 days to be told I was already in the queue. Came through the next day. (LTG and P) There is only one option----patience. I used information snipped from my online accout with Qantas as my plastic card had expired but I had been given an extension.I am getting a bit worried. Applied for the status match (QFF Lifetime G and have installed the App but haven’t heard or seen anything yet. Is there any good email or phone number on which I can contact customer services? Should I try and resubmit? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
Well, the two QF golds in my family have been matched after over a week.Whole family applied for a match on 23 April. 1x QF and VA Plat and 2x QF Golds. Still nothing nearly two weeks later.
I'll probably book via the QF NZ sale before that runs out.
