The airline announced today that from March 30, Air New Zealand services would replace those of Freedom Air on the Tasman route, the New Zealand Press Association reported.
Freedom Air was set up more than ten years ago and has carried more than four million travellers.

Alot of people speculate this is perhaps what will eventually happen to Jetstar as well.... interesting though! Flew Freedom once, pretty horrible experience and I think they are still operating flights for Air NZ under Air NZ livery right (kind of like Australian Airlines / Qantas)?

Also interesting Air NZ slowly moving more premium... of course still held up by the NZ government, should be interesting though...
