And asking a passenger to confirm it.
Have NZ flights coming up, and even 5 mins late, they want a confirm.
Comp systems would not accept, so I had to wait 20 mins on phone to 132476!
Prefer if not so pain in bum. Ideal solution, computer system will/would have accepted confirmation.
Moaner dog I am

Even a small change could make a connection non compliant with minium connection time on the next flight (if applicable). If the web link does not work first time try again later..
And I always look for other phone numbers instead of using the expensive 13xx_x numbers.

All airlines do it, EK do it also.

AA loves doing this.

AA also does it when the flight number changes without any time change which seems to happen a bit.

Ok, thanks.
Havent flown EK (yet), later on this year will be my first few.
SQ, only one flight done many years ago, ... but I didn't have email at that time registered in my name.

I used an Australian landline, so just a one fixed charge.
I had a mobile at hand, and was nearly going to use that (!!!) as I have to somehow reduce the prepaid balance, Optus it is and its due to drop $40, thats my balance, if I don't recharge it with $30 or more. APART from using a mobile to call a **x line! Its a 2nd mobile I use for non work purposes.
Ok, leave you to what you were doing.
Re: change in scheduling that might make a flight connection unattainable, umm, yes, good point that one.

I got the email. Exactly, a 5 minute change but the code and confirm worked.
