Thank you.Have flown it 3 or 4 times AKL-LAX or vv. I think its better than PE... simply due to being able to lie down, even if not stretched out (I AM only 5' 7" so that helps) I find that I can lie down quite comfortably, admittedly with legs bent... but given it is WIDER than the Biz class seat that is quite easy. I sleep well in it..WITH good ear plugs, It must be remembered that the REST of the experience is pure Y...I AM of course talking of Skycouch for ONE! The idea that two adults could both lie down is pretty ridiculous... at least on a Long haul flight... Given that it usually costs about the same as PE it has become my choice (when upgrades or Business class specials are unavailable)

Here's whether Air New Zealand's Skycouch was worth it - The Points Guy
What if an economy airline row could transform into a couch with pillows and a blanket? The Air New Zealand Skycouch does just that and here's what it is like.thepointsguy.com

The big experiment: Premium Economy or Skycouch
I just tried them both on Air New Zealand. Here is my verdict.www.bloggeratlarge.com
Overall, I think people see Skycouch favourably, as there is a tangible possibility to lay flat, but unless you are very short, you're likely to sleep lying somewhat up, or in a cruched up position (not straight body).
lol… so pretty much the same as a Singapore airlines business class seat!!Here's a couple of trip reports with reviews:

I’m 6’3. I can lie down on a triple seat until on a 787. The extra seat pan width and knees slightly bent is a pretty small issue when you can lie down to sleep. 100x better than PEY.
The only folk that would really struggle is if you could only sleep on your back, or front.
Be nice, given the upcharge, if the Skycouch rows were directly behind PE, and got PE F & B! (Dream on)I’ve used the Skycouch on the AKL–LAX route, and on the return leg I flew in Premium Economy.
For such a long flight, being able to lie down made a world of difference. While you can’t stretch out completely flat, you can bend your legs and sleep on your side just fine. The space is surprisingly wide for an airplane seat. You can also sit upright against the wall with your legs extended, which is an ideal position if you're using a laptop or tablet for entertainment. I was traveling solo - as mentioned above, it would not be possible for 2 adults to lie down.
Separately, some friends of mine travelled with two toddlers and booked two rows of Skycouch. They said it was ideal for the kids. Both adults sat in the aisle seats while the kids stretched out across the middle and window seats.
In comparison, Prem economy has other benefits like better food and service, smaller cabin and dedicated check in, but you are still sitting upright for the entire flight. Skycouch gets my vote.
