Air New Zealand has seen net profit after tax fall 79 per cent to $24 million in the six months to December 31 as it faced one of the toughest periods in its history.
But the carrier said it is already benefitting from a drop in fuel prices saying if current conditions continue its performance will significantly improve” in the second half.
