A320 ZK-NHA on the Friday 5 August 2022 NZ232 (0910 hours SYD up to ZQN) took off at 1024, arriving at 1456 hours mid afternoon, 41 minutes behind the timetable. It's now on returning NZ231, the 1515 hours in the sky at 1629, expecting to arrive at its SYD gate at 1807 hours, 97 minutes late partly due to excess time on the ground in Queenstown (NZ not Tasmania). In turn, this will delay NZ228, the 1805 hours to CHC that most unrealistically is claimed by FR24 to be pushing back at 1840 hours. A 33 minute turnaround? Extremely unlikely.
ZK-NHF operated the midmorning 0925 hours SYD - WLG NZ246, arriving 28 late at 1508, but the 1545 hours WLG - BNE (NZ271) that it was meant to form became a cancellation.
NZ102 (ZK-NNC, 0955 hours SYD up to AKL) was in the sky at 1124 hours so arrival at 1622 was 77 minutes behind schedule. It was supposedly then to operate the 1620 hours AKL - SYD NZ109 but this was also cancelled.
NZ104 (early lunchtime 1155 hours SYD - AKL, B789 ZK-NZN) was airborne at 1303 hours, arriving the northern NZ harbour city at 1745, 50 late, better than yesterday's 1841 hours at gate arrival.
Partly due to adverse weather, there are many TransTasman delays.
