Air Canada has big plans for the Boeing 787, with the next-gen jetliner a candidate to debut both a new Executive First international business class and the airline’s first premium economy cabin. The Dreamliner will also make it possible for Air Canada to add more non-stop flights between Sydney and Vancouver and also add Melbourne to its map.

YVR connections to Australia could do with an upgrade. Good idea.

Will have to wait and see what AC new business/executive first seats look like. IMO the best J seat to reach YVR with *A without transiting in the US remains NZ business premier. In the sleeping configuration the NZ seat is more comfortable than my mattress at home:shock:

Give the 787s to QFi so they can do MEL-YVR too! (or come to think of it, why not find a way to upgrade HNL services with something like MEL/SYD-HNL-YVR/ORD? I vaguely recall QFi looking at flights to Chicago at some point.
