AC34 again did not operate on Monday 21 February 2022.

On Wednesday 23 February 2022, AC34 (1215 hours SYD - YVR) again got the boot.

It would be an exaggeration to suggests it 'never runs' but to claim it's all too frequently cancelled would be arguable.

AC34 again gets the boot on Saturday 26 February 2022.

AC33 from YVR down to SYD, the Monday 28 February 1030 hours arrival and AC34 back to YVR (ex SYD 1215) are again cancelled.

This airline is scrubbing a surprising number of its sole OD Canada-Australia flights.

On Ash Wednesday, 2 March 2022, AC34 is (again) cancelled.

In an oft-repeated occurrence, AC34 (1215 hours SYD - YVR) is cancelled on Monday 14 March.

On Wednesday 16 March 2022, AC34 was c--------. No one wins a prize for guessing the last word.

Post Delta (as in the initial type of coronavirus), this must be SYD's most unreliable international timetabled passenger departure.

AC34 was yet again cancelled, this time on Monday 21 March 2022.

Again on a Wednesday - 23 March 2022 - AC34 (1215 hours SYD up to YVR) has been given the flick.

AC34 has become an 0930 hours SYD up to YVR. It was cancelled on Tuesday 31 May 2022.

Tuesday 31 May 2022's AC33 (B789 C-FUIA), the 2315 hours YVR - SYD took off at 0040 on Wednesday 1 June so Thursday 2 at gate arrival becomes 53 minutes late at 0838 hours.

Monday 11 July 2022 finds AC37 (B789 C-FRTG) from YVR to SYD having arrived at 0740 hours, 50 minutes late while the following AC33 (C-FRSA) should be at its arrival gate (same route from Canada) at 0943 hours, 118 minutes behind the timetable.

Saturday 30 July 2022 saw AC33, the 2315 hours YVR down to SYD (B789 C-FGDX) not take off until 0205 hours on Sunday 31, so Monday 1 August arrival should be about 0945 hours, 120 minutes late. This will delay the 0930 hours AC34 back up to YVR.

On Monday 8 August 2022, AC37 from YVR to SYD is arriving an hour late at 0750 hours with B789 C-FVLQ. This is likely to delay the returning 0930 hours ex SYD, AC34.

On Wednesday 7 September 2022, AC33 from YVR down to SYD (B773ER C-FJZS) is arriving at 0808 hours, 33 minutes late. Until yesterday this flight was a B789 but FR24 indicates '77L' is now to be used.

Monday 19 September 2022 has AC33 (B772 C-FNND from YVR to SYD) arriving at 0818 hours, 33 minutes behind schedule.

Mon 12 Dec 2022, AC33 YVR-SYD has diverted to BNE

This is because of heavy storms in SYD that saw the airport closed for some minutes. Storms are continuing.

One would expect AC34 passengers to have an overnight delay and if not locals in Sydney to be put up in hotels for the night. Hotels love airline delays!

Following its earlier diversion to BNE, AC33 has morphed into AC34 and surprised me by taking off from SYD at 1724 with saame day YVR arrival estimated as 1216 hours, 316 minutes tardy. Aircraft is B773ER C-FIVS.

B772LR C-FNND on AC33, the 2300 hours Thursday 14 December 2022 YVR-SYD did not become airborne until 0230 hours on Friday 15. On Saturday 16, it is arriving at 1240 hours, 175 minutes behind schedule.
