Air Berlin pilots too tired to land

AV Herald reports on an Air Berlin flight where the pilots declared PAN PAN for an autoland because they were fatigued.

Agreed. A sensible course of action. No hurt in declaring a PAN, and using automation to reduce crew workload when fatigued, in this instance.

We all have days when we are a bit off, and sometimes you don't know it until you are an hour or two into work.
