Looks like a very good (legitimate) sale price. This is the lowest I've seen it. Previously the lowest was $399 one-way for the premium flatbed back when they launched the SYD-DPS route.

I flew Air Asia X from KUL to SYD in the premium flatbed last month. Not the best business class product out there, and the bed is not entirely flat. But for a ~6 hour flight to Bali it would be quite okay and for that price it's a pretty good deal.

Couldn't be $300 return surely? Gotta be each way?

It would appear that way. The screenshot from the first post showed a price of $597.98 for SYD-DPS return.

The screenshot is for two people. Others have also reported the same price (one is taking a whole family of four for AUD1030 return).

This was pricing below the starter economy fare (ie before bags, meals, seat selection). Not many on ozbargain seem to be holding out that Air Asia will honour the fare though.

ONLY VALID TODAY
I couldn't resist, so cheap !
If you search for flights via the website, it comes up as > $5000 return for 4 people.
Click on the Big members sale and log in, and it comes to $320 return per person in flat beds !
$160 one way for adult one way and $127 the other way
kids are $127 each way

I just hope there is no volcanic activity !

Positioning out of MEL still dates available in late October and November.

Open to Air Asia BIG members at the moment, but sales are expected to go live to public tomorrow 7/3/16

Travel dates from OCT 16 to MAY 17 (I think)

Includes Meal and 40kg Checked Baggage

Not too sure if a pricing error or just a super special!

Around $300 from SYD, $280 from MEL

Many thanks for the posts - jumped on Mar/Apr 2017 MEL flights for under $600 with SWMBO - couldn't find a return leg for Oct/Nov flights

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Jumped onto this one. Family of 4. MEL - DPS Return. $762. 19/NOV - 26/NOV.

Having 2 infants, just wondering what will happen with our seating, Anyone know how that works out from a seating aspect? (Number of Oxy Masks per seat group.) We have twins, and fear we may have to sit across the isle on the day. Selected seats 2AC. Maybe would be better with 2DG.

Tomgaddardd, THANK YOU so much
Confirmation email through and seats booked

The sale is now released to the general public - I've checked about 5 random dates in Jan, Feb and May. Not sure if the $300 returns are still there.

Love how certain people from AFF were slamming the QF NRT points error and how it shouldn't be on Oz Bargain but no issues when an Oz Bargain deal posted here! ideally though the less the deal is shared with the less chance of cancellation.

Glad people booked it!

Yes, ozbargain certainly helped us this time. I have signed up and set alerts for posts in the travel section

I'm getting $657 out, $620 back from Melbourne atm for 1 person. Was it just a one day sale or can anyone else access the cheapies now?

Fantastic find for anyone who managed to snag one.

i think they might've been mistake fares... my booking only shows airport + arrival taxes

The rule is good if I get in early, bad if I don't. Self interest always rules.

Interestingly, there was a comment on the Facebook FF page from a guy who said he called them and they told him the price was correct !?!?
