Started this week, interesting they are using a non Sharklet A320.

I assume payload restricted, fully loaded with a ADL alternate, is rather tight.

I hope AirAsia will be launching DPS-SYD in the future. A similar schedule with early departure is going to be beneficial and able to lure Jetstar passengers away, particularly when there's no more lounge access on JQ, I don't see a point with flying with them.

I’d imagine they might be keen on WSI incentives, but they really need a NEO. QZ don’t have any at this time.

I was told a while ago by a Jetstar Captain that A320/Non Sharklet can’t do east coast to Bali fully loaded with an interstate alternate. AirAsia have never been on my travel list so if they are pushing the limits then I will never be interested.
