There is no prize offered at this stage.

Dates & Times are AEST. To make it interesting, all predictions must be entered by midnight, AEST, 23 February 2007. Deleted posts do not count, only actual posts!

Closest guess to actual post time will win - regardless of whether the guess is earlier or later than the posting time. Winner will have name engraved in Winner's Podium honour roll.

Good luck to all.

Unless there is a huge surge in posting over the next 15 minutes, I think Shano will have this one.

AFF has more than 60,000 posts as of now. Not sure when crossed the threshold - earlier today?

It was at least an hour after my previous post (which was when I got to board my somewhat delayed flight)

I think this post (or close to it) is the 60,000th post. Based on 60,043 posts as at your post above which has post #117629. So post #117586 would be it.

If correct that makes it 1:05am eastern daylight time on 06/03/07. Waiting for JohnK to confirm.

I think you will find it was just after midnight Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time (this morning).

Is there a 3 hour time difference? I thought it was only 2 hours time difference (except the odd weeks due to misalignment of daylight saving start/end dates).

3 hour difference from what?

From NZ. The linked post shows for me as 3:05am (a little over 12 hours ago).

'tis showing as 1:05am for this AEDST enhanced member ...

ah so it is the time difference to Queensland that is the issue - 30 years and an hour

Daylight savings seems to be a real mess this year - the US change this coming weekend, NZ the following week and Oz the week after - dont they make this hard enough already???

NZ's date hasn't changed for a while, although some pollies calling to extend it (both ends)

US changed their dates this year.

Would be so much easier if all countries that have it agree to 6 month length and changeover on the same dates.

Kiwi Flyer, I think your calculation of the post number may be out by a small number (think of an integer between 2 and 4) ;)
