ANZ announcement today...ceasing the share buyback and having a DRP which will not be neutralised.
So having already "spent" almost $1.2B in a buyback, a 180degree turnaround by issuing extra shares instead of reducing.
Also stated a 1.5% discount on the DRP, don't know if that is new. Shares up (atm) on a down day.

ANZ is getting a major reset.Tough on staff but good for the bank repositioning for growth.
TWE news of overstocks is not a surprise to me based on the Wall Street journal article. I hope we get offers on Penfolds better wines at fairer prices.
Rare earth stocks have lifted today.

I sold my LYC SPP allocation after a few days to rebalance my portfolio, which made sense at the time. Hindsight, and the share price, is now telling me that I should have kept them another week, at least! Oh well.

I looked at HMC in June/July and decided against it. It's moved lower since that time.

With the buy in of Mario Verrocchi, I've decided to get on today.

HMC up over 8% today.

WEB is looking like it might have finished the downtrend. Tempted to buy in.

With that temporary dip to 4.20 today I’m back in.

We are back in California now. Delta A321 in first class was quite a bit better than the AA row 31 on a 737 middle seat due to cancelled flight. It may be years before Mrscove will try American again.

No one rings a bell to sell but sometimes you sell and then up the price goes. We sold some Codan and they then went up $10. Fortunately we have heaps left.
