8% still good even if unfranked.ALX= unfranked dividend = taxable income...
Equal to 28c fully franked (with 12c franking credits) which I would have to gross up to 40c and then pay tax on it

We went to T Mobile for e sims for our our phones and IPads as we prepare for our Mississippi River cruise.
DRO have run up to $3.68 from $3.22 at time of this post. I didn't buy last week but won't jump in in this market.I have been looking at Droneshield (DRO) for some time. I have not pulled the trigger as I am concerned it has already had it's run albeit on the back of significant contracts. I had a chance ecounter yesterday with someone involved in testing and they informed me DRO staff numbers have gone from 180 a year ago to 400 now.
AEE still on an upward trajectory.
Indeed. I was planning on selling today but I might hold the SPP shares a bit longer. Holding them does put my portfolio out of whack though with weighting.Nice gain on the Lynas SPP
Agreed - we have a Tasmanian government that is hell-bent on spending a billion dollars (that they need to borrow) to build an AFL stadium in Hobart - even though their own planning commission has released a report saying that the stadium makes no sense from an economic, geographical and just about every other senseAustralia should not be running deficits in any State nor Federally. Currently we are shoveling debt onto our next generations due to lack of discipline.
Well I think we might struggle to supply our own data centres.A question - with the U.S. trying very hard to descend into civil war and anarchy - if it all turned to cough over there and essential services like electricity were disrupted potentially affecting a lot of cloud based servers and other "international infrastructure" over there - how badly would Australia be affected? Would our banking systems still work? What sorts of things might fail here in Australia that we haven't thought of?
If we haven't heard of them in Australia then if they became unavailable it probably won't cause any catastrophic problems. You can come over @RSD to see for yourself..You will see lots of drugs being advertised that we have never heard of.
It would be interesting to find out how many businesses (knowingly or unknowingly) rely on data centres in the U.S. I use gmail but I have no idea where that is stored.Well I think we might struggle to supply our own data centres.
It won't be in one location and likely globally distributed across several locations.but I have no idea where that is stored
