Yes CSL has quite a bit of pain to endure as they adjust to a changed world.
It took a bit longer for QPM to wake up than I expected.
MND is a disaster for anyone who gets it so we went for NUZ in their placement today. Petra has an analyst in the medical field who picked AYA for us at 42 cents.
We went to a Harry Perkins lunch meeting today and heard from 5 exciting presenters.
One scientist at our table has a project that dissolves plaque in arteries and they are setting up manufacturing the solution in Australia.
 
In every 6 months to re-balloon stents

Asked cardio about difference between old style stents and new drug eluting stents.
Mentioned frequent ballooning with older stents ( thinking of you)
He was very surprised at that frequency.. not sure he believed me...
 
I will keep you in mind @prozac as I have an unwritten warranty from my quadruple bypass 31 years ago. I would love to have clear arteries and veins as I get older. The medications I have to take make me almost rattle when I walk.
We may get to the US in time to hear an interest rate cut. Of course that may not happen.
This morning I sat with a group of older folks for a few minutes. Their view on Australia is that we are no longer the “lucky country”.
Someone sold us one share in Acumentis which is ACU. They are valuers and they have turned the corner after having their files hacked several years ago. Our treasurer may get them busy if he keeps on with the unrealized profits tax ideas.

I have modern drug-eluting stents and when re-ballooned we use drug eluting balloons. Had it doen at Christmas and told it would be good for 9 yrs. Don't know where he got that idea from but I was back in in July., 80-90% blocked.

Had a triple by-pass in May 2020. Was going ok until I got cancer in my chest in 2023. During the 6hr thoracic operation to get a biopsy the artery (RIMA) supplying my 2 right side by-passes was separated and was then terminated to stop the bleeding. If it was raining virgins i'd be washed down the drain with a poof. No-one wants to do the by-pass again.
