AFF Member Stock Discussion

Mrscove is pretty happy with the Booktopia shares and she thinks people in lockdown will read more.
I am on Endeavour Group as I think more alcohol will be consumed.

I married the University librarian @Buzzard so i found she loves books.
Booktopia has service that is really excellent.
Dan Murphy’s is busy and Endeavour should do better uncoupled from Woolworths.
Shares and travel have been a big part of our lives and with travel pretty much on hold it has been lots of shares.
We have thoughts of selling shares like CBA but have not pulled the trigger.

Books and wine = good Covid defence stocks!!
I bought up Goodman Group start of Covid whose huge warehouses (housing said books/booze) are are 98% occupancy with lots of profit this year…

Gee the market has been good lately though , our little collection (living in the bottom drawer ) has gone from strength to strength.
I dumped a few re holdings over the past 5 years that would have doubled at least.. so I am more lucky than clever perhaps.
Either way , post Covid ( if thre is such a paradise).., I /we will be hitting the road big time..

Should have got in.
Be kind to yourself .. I dont use the word ‘should’ in these scenarios.. in your lifetime of trading shares have you made more profit than loss?
outpaced inflation?
taken good profits?
sold off the ‘rats and mice’ shares to balance capital gain with loss?
made more money than putting it into the bank (and I don’t mean buying shares in banks)?
