Last night CBA Netbank was out. So Mrscove will be getting tested with her Bankwest branch closures. She is using our local post office as it is more reliable.

Thank goodness CBA is no longer broken. Their shares are priced for perfection. They changed Bankwest to a business name and now plan to make it a pure digital play where transactions will cost them less than a cent. Sure they would lose a chunk of customers if there was an alternative but lots of customers don’t know where to look.

Mrscove loves dealing with Booktopia as she was originally a librarian. Their trading has not been as good as their shipping performance and their net worth is negative. They have moved into a new distribution centre so their cost of picking has dropped a lot.
I am thinking of buying at sub 6 cents. What do you think?

Sheesh, one look at the chart - I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole at the moment. They have tanked since floating!

Yes Booktopia did a share issue at 12 cents inside the last year and with further losses the shares are trading around 6 cents. Now I would hate to miss a ten bagger if they get out of this mess and turn the corner. We get lots of books from them and their service has been excellent. I don’t have any inside running details.

Covey - they are a ‘because I love them’ 5% where I buy ‘just because’. For mrs Covey.
We invested in a non-alc drink brand we love when they opened up for private funding. Don't care if I lose it— we love the brand and young people behind it. The lifetime discount will exceed what I put in.(not the point)

Thanks @MARTINE it does look quite ordinary. I think that I will visit them to get more of an update.Booktopia are based in Sydney and the humidity/heat there will start reducing soon. If I was younger I would get involved in another business.
Today the market is likely to be in the red and we are flying to Perth from Adelaide before the market closes.
Yesterday we bought some Good Drinks Australia shares at their years low. Matsos ginger beer is pretty good.

Not necessarily paying any heed to his advice, I did buy HVN shares on 15/3/2023 at $3.81 a share. Yesterday I sold them for $4.90 a share.

I’m happy with that profit over 12 months, but will still check-in in another 2 to 3 years to see if Gerry was correct.

We are getting kicked out of Morgan Stanley as we have just under 2 commas in two shares with them. We checked with our neighbours and the same is happening to them.
We decided not to tell MS that we have more stocks and bonds than they can see.
Had been doing call options on QBE but that broker in MS moved to Shaws.

Didn’t get Reddit shares and up they went. Just read a few funny entries on Reddit when I want to relax.
Figuring whether to sell shares is a brain teaser but it is always nice to bag a profit.

We took a placement in the large shareholder of Sigma to get a lower entry cost. That deal was done by Sequoia a few weeks ago.HMC Capital.
Tougher market today.
We are getting ready to provide funding for our new grand daughter’s education.

Does anyone else have trouble getting locked out of their Computersh$t accts?
I can set up new passwords and then next time I go to login again with new password I am locked out. The call centre in Manila uses VOIP and apart from accent barrier the line gets choppy and you spend the conversation saying, "What, what?

No I meant generally. I have been made to change passwords twice, so far, then when I go to login with new PW months later it still blocks me. Grrrr
