When should AFF #8 in Melbourne take place?

I'd be more than happy to be an organiser, but October 24th weekend would have to be off the table, as would the first weekend of November.

You're more than welcome to now, but when this poll is done a new thread that'll run right through to the event and beyond will be created. So you might have to post twice ;)

At this early stage I won't vote in the date poll as I don't have work plans that far ahead, but I will start thinking about appropriate venues and activities...
 
21-23 November is sneaking ahead. It is probably the worst weekend for me with a combination of work and a friend's wedding. Oh well, a few days yet.
 
Everyone keeps voting for 24-26 October, and I don't want to miss AFF8 :(

Ah well, I can only plead my case. Like I said, I'm keen to be involved in the organising; I need something to keep me occupied at work.
 
I chose the BNE G20 Summit dates, but any weekend is good for me at this stage in those date ranges. We'll see if I can make it (and tack on client meetings in MEL to make it tax deductible).
