Admin: Agoda max promo not working?

Not sure where to put this... hope it's the right place...

In the AFF News 15 Jan 17 there was a promo for agoda max - with an extra 10% off with the code AGODAAFF.

I used this once successfully, but when trying to make any subsequent bookings (different hotels, different places) i comes back with a message that 'this promotion code has already been used'.

From the newsletter it appeared the coupon was valid for multiple hotels until 31 March.

I have used different computers, different IP addresses. Same message. Have used the link in the AFF news to get to Agoda and also tried going direct without the link.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
 
I believe the link contained the code already applied, so if entering the code after selecting a hotel you would naturally get a message that it was already applied. The code also had limitations, not being applicable on every property.

I did not book any properties though.

The first time I used it I entered the code in the coupon box (as per the instructions I have copied below)... it worked against the base rate (excl tax).

Seems dead now. Either it's a single time use per account holder (however Agoda tracks cookies), or it expired early? Or just a one off and I happened to be the first AFFer to use it?

great offer - I just tried to book for a promotion eligible hotel

but something is wrong - it wont accept the code as it has already been used? sounds like they set it up as a single use code only?

I just tested for that - same hotel identical booking but different browser and direct to AGODA - (not clicking though the AFF email ) and the price is the same

so to genuinely be 10% off - the code AGODAFF must work. or else the deal is BS.

You can’t contact AGODA by phone without a booking receipt number - I tried. and an email takes 24 hours to reply.


Surely Admin must have a more direct contact with AGODA?

Agoda has got back to me and they apologise for the problem with the Coupon. They have now created a new coupon "AGODAAFF10" (no inverted commas) and - as a gesture of their good will - extended the validity till the end of April.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and remember you now have an extra month to make use of this great deal!

Even using the voucher, I can never complete the booking. I've tried to book numerous hotels for work and whenever I hit the final book and pay button I always get a page saying "Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties." But if you don't use the voucher then the booking processes just fine. Is there another issue?
