When training pilots is mentioned, being Victorian I immediately think of Moorabbin.

Tamworth is next.

However I hadn't considered Adelaide (presumably Parafield).

This article has some interesting points and shows how these sorts of 'services exports' are important for Australia. Note the comment about '30000 applicants!'

Flight Training Adelaide has long been a flying school for airline cadets. Notably, QF, VA and CX.
