Adding Velocity details to Delta bookings

Hi all,

Is anyone else experiencing issues booking directly with Delta when it comes time to add their Velocity details?

I've booked two legs thus far (LAX-CLT and CLT-MCO) and in both cases:

• Attempting to supply my Velocity number during the actual booking process at delta.com stopped me from completing the booking
• Attempting to add my Velocity number to either booking via the My Trips results in an error being displayed

Writing to Delta on this results in a very insistent "We can't fix this online - you need to call us". Has anyone gone through this sort of process themselves?

I've never had a problem doing this so it might just be a temporary glitch.

I've never experienced this problem, my status shows up once booking is completed ( it shows as DL status not VA studs but your boarding pass show VA status.)

I've never had a problem- last time about a month ago -hopefully it's just a temporary bug

Sometimes it could be the web browser you are using. I've had difficulties using chrome on occasions so try again with IE if you haven't been using that browser

I didn't have this problem either. Although you can add velocity details after you have made the booking, there is an option somewhere in "My Trips".

It's an error generated on the server side I'm afraid - this is definitely not a browser-related issue.

Booked 4 passengers on 3 sectors with Delta on line about 3 months ago and was able to enter everyone's velocity numbers without issue.

In 30+ bookings I have never had an issue.

At this point, I'm waiting for one of Delta's staff to become available.

Either their IVR system is a bit dopey or it isn't calibrated to understand people without an Atlanta-ish accent.
