Having completed 13 legs of my DONE4 (primarily so it could be an e-ticket) I now will add 6 new legs and change the final leg of the trip. I know I will have to pay a fee and more taxes - that is not an issue.

The DONE4 was organised through the AA ATW desk in Dallas, and paid for through AA at NRT by credit card.

I am assuming that now I ring the same desk to alter the trip. Does anyone know for sure the procedure thereafter? Method of payment and/or whether the remaining segments are issued as a paper ticket.

Thanks for any advice.

PS sorry for typo in heading I do not seem to be able to edit it.

Just phone the ATW desk and they will rebook it. You may need to phone the AU office to pay the change fee

unless you have changed the itinerary such that it requires a paper ticket, then it will just be reissued as an eticket

If you prefer not to deal with the AU office in India, you can call the UK office

And that's my question there are 6 new legs now but 13 have been done. In your opinion would they now issue an e-ticket - or if its a paper ticket how can I get hold of it? (courier, fedex, mail?)

if the new ticket when issued has < 16 sectors then it can normally be eticketable. if you have done 13 sectors , then there should only be about 7 sectors on the new ticket

Unless you have something to put in itinerary which will necessitate paper, then you'll be fine

If it needs reissuing on paper, it will be posted out from Sydney

To end the tale....

Rang the AA RTW desk and by chance got the same all-star agent who did the original ticketing. & new sectors added no problem. After taxes re-issue fee $230 AUD.

Now the new ticket is issued on paper, by AA Sydney. Rang them and paid by CC no problem. Will pick up ticket from them within next few days. very smooth.
