Sorry guys - I know this would have been dealt with before and it can get tiresome answering the same questions over and over, but haven't been able to find the answer in other threads.

Basically looking at transferring some SPG points to AA for an award booking - can I then add my QFWP number to this booking or am I stuck with my AA rookie level number?

The flights will be on QF so would obv. prefer to take advantage of WP status for seat allocation.

If the flights are on QF, then ask the AAgent for the QF booking reference number, then use QF's web site under Manage Your Booking to change the FF number from your AA number to your QF number. That way your QF OneWorld status will appear on your BP for things like lounge access.

As the flights are on QF, once the booking has been made. Call QF with flight details, they will find you in the system and add your ff number to the Booking. While AA will not see this (Different systems), there is no real need for them to any way.

Thanks guys, I was hoping it would be a simple procedure.

Cheers.
