Accor Stay Plus FREE Night Allocation and Availability

It's really disappointing the only basic rooms seem to be on offer, everywhere I looked. Hopefully an upgrade comes through, but I'm doubtful on that.

Some properties will let you chose more expensive rooms but I’d be very surprised if properties allowed all their inventory to be matched to Stay Plus.
I do think most will probably limit it to their basic rooms

Stay Plus free night availability is not guaranteed for above standard rooms. As per their T&C:

6.2(b) The Stay Plus Free Night benefit is valid for a standard room at participating brands. Some hotels may also offer members an opportunity to upgrade their stay by using their Stay Plus Free Night benefit and paying an additional supplement.

They also have various black out dates and variations for the Stay Plus benefit here ALL Accor+ Explorer Member Stay Benefits Variations

I have booked a Superior Suite at Pullman Melbourne on the Park for two nights in January using one Stay Plus night. I was charged an additional $150 for the Stay Plus night because it’s a suite, whereas if I select a standard room, there’s no extra charge.

Using the ALL app, I can see that most hotels in Melbourne are available to book using Stay Plus night in January, including higher-end rooms, with some additional payment options.

Is anyone just forgoing their buy 1 get 1 night free benefit?
I used to love it , when it was 1 night , as for us , that worked well....

I wonder who might have emailed Loyalty Lobby about that issue..... ;)
I feel like some accor properties are slowly following. Raffles Singapore appeared out of nowhere and is now available.

I don't buy it is a system thing that Accor controls - highly suspect it's backend is for each hotel to control and many don't want to follow through with it (I mean who does as a business). Either that or Accor hasnt been clear with them how they're being compensated for the stay nights (which i could see being the case).

The stay night scenario shouldn't have needed any major backend system overhaul, rather the hotels to fall in line with the policy.

Either way its a huge botched mess for a very significant change that hasn't eventuated and as a customer it feels pretty cough.

Probably Accor being stingy with compensation. Properties aren’t going to give away $1000+ nights for free without being heavily compensated. One of the duty managers at Raffles Jakarta had mentioned that dialogue was ongoing between the various properties and there yet may be further “enhancements” in the coming months

Maybe we should be wayback machine archiving those posts and claim false advertising later and see where things end up.

I honestly think that Raffles will most likely end up allocating something like 2 rooms per day max available and it will be like chook lotto

As I mentioned Singapore raffles is online now for date range i randomly looked and a few days ago it showed nothing.

Yes but Singapore Raffles already has these conditions

Raffles Singapore: Stay Plus FREE Night benefit has limited availability per day.

So it’s already a case of getting in quickly it seems
