Accor Plus Membership Discussion

I had A+ for 2 years then decided to let it elapse at the end of last year. I have been since looking for a good deal to join back but the 50% discount wasn't offered this year so just took the plunge and joined on 2 July to take the benefit of the 3000points back deal. (It seems that this deal finished on 2 Jul but then started back up again). I also saw on Loyalty lobby that for new and members who rejoined after more than 31 days will get 30 nights.

I used 12,000 All points to join rather than paying cash as I had bought the All signature subscription.

It's been now 8 days since I rejoined A+ but haven't yet received the 3000 points (I know they said it could take up to 30 days) and also haven't got the extra 10 nights (only the 20 nights on sign up). But I did get 2 stay plus certs.. which i was certainly not expecting

Just wondering if anyone else had similar experience and was wondering what could have triggered the 2 stay pluses.

I’m surprised you’re happy letting your points balance get so high. Whilst I think Accor is a relatively hackable program I always fear that overnight they’ll change the value hence I prefer to earn then redeem ASAP.
