What are some of the better (higher end) restaurants that giving the dining benefits in Melbourne? Recommendations appreciated.

Miss Mi definitely worth adding to the list.
Pastore at Chadstone is also recommended. I normally go to the bar as it has a nice view but they don't offer accor plus discounts. Food is good though

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

We all have our tastes and opinions re dining. I guess i like Sofitel Melbourne for so many reasons, but I have really enjoyed recent meals there. The food is fairly high end dining, but I think using quality produce adds to the experience. And of course the view is an added bonus.
The first 3 photos are from Sofitel dining. An unexpected surprise was dining at the Lane restaurant at Novotel Melbourne on Collins, the subsequent photos are from dinner there. Great oysters also. They have an excellent breakfast buffet for $38, which is great value with a 50% discount. ($19 each).

I've stayed at the Sofitel Melb several times but never dined at the restaurant. The menu is displayed around the place and to be honest, seemed quite boring. However, that food does look good.

Sofitel BNE. Food was mediocre except for main of lamb neck, dry tasteless and fairly inedible. Crepe was good and FOS was quite nice. They comped the main along with my 25% discount.IMG_5598.jpegIMG_5599.jpegIMG_5600.jpegIMG_5601.jpeg

Miss Mi is excellent, as is No. 35. Atrium on 35 has become our pre-theatre go-to as it's generally quiet and has a good grazing and drinks selection (though I'd recommend avoiding their disappointing cheese plate).

If you're after dinner in the suburbs, Saros (Moonee Ponds) has a solid menu. They do a wonderful lamb shoulder, when it's in season.

There's a Miss Mi in Perth too which is part of Accor Plus. It's excellent!
Really enjoyed our dinner tonight at Miss Mi.

Accor Plus discount applied, attentive staff, delicious flavours.
Glad we went early as it did get a tad noisy as the restaurant filled up.
Will certainly go back (want to try the Lamb ribs!)

IRT current November dining promotion (x2 points) only 48 points credited for my $79 spend.
Will the x2 appear separately?
I had registered for for promo and used my linked ccard.

Another stay at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster last weekend, full review in post #2020 How Accor treats Elite guest thread. From that post

"Breakfast: onsite restaurant: Accor Gold discount applied in restaurant for breakfast and dinner without issue.

Their restaurant doesn't have a name at present, it was called Chido Chido doing Mexican food. Recent change of menu as Mexican wasn't that popular."

Found the food quite acceptable at the as yet un-named restaurant at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster.
In the afternoon had bar- snacks and a delicious slice of cheesecake (cake of the day)
Discount 50% applied without issue even though we had teenage grandchildren with us.

Food is good but menu is limited and a tad disappointing that they had run of of steak due to the busy long Australia Day weekend.

Update : a quick call to Accor Plus had it sorted that day after I emailed a copy of the receipt.

Hi, there are 3 Accor plus members attending a birthday dinner with 1 table of 10. I have read on the Accor website that there is a possibility of accessing the benefit on all three cards for the 1 table. However, I called a the Accor restaurant and was told only one card per table/booking. Is this correct?

Depends on the country, but in Australia you should be able to use mutliple cards. Having said that, some restaurants have exceptions.

Am Accor Plus and have my Mastercard linked to ALL and usually have no issues in receiving points when dining when not an in house guest ( apart from one instance)

My question relates to an upcoming stay.

Have booked through Qantas Hotels for one night, we will be dining there.

Do I put dinner on the hotel tab and pay that (and parking) upon checkout or better to pay dinner directly with linked Mastercard to ensure I get ALL reward points?
