I’ll be stuck in a hotel for 17 nights for work (the horror 😂, but work rules say hotels only).

Bit of a newbie to Accor membership. I should hit Silver after the first 4 nights, so I’m wondering how the extra Reward points work.

Would I be better off making two separate bookings, 4 nights first and then the remaining 13, so I get the Silver 24% bonus on the second stay? Or if I book all 17 nights together, will the Silver rate automatically apply to the remaining nights once I qualify?

Anyone done something similar before?

It is based on check out. If one booking, you won't get silver status until after checking out at the end.

You need to do the 4 nights and check out before staying at a different property for at least one night.
