I found the best way to get QFF points for eligible Accor stays, is to wait 1 to 2 months for the first ans subsequent QFF statement missing the points credit and send an email/fax with copies of the Hotel statements(s). Points normally appeared in about 3 weeks.
I have not have had good experiences with Accor hotels.

I stayed at the Mercure in Broome and even though the person at the front desk swiped my QFF card I did not receive any points. I put a claim through the QF service centre and after emails back and forth it was classed an ineligible stay due to being on a prepaid rate. It was the only option on the Accor website. It should have been an eligible stay but for 360 QFF points I could not be bothered persevering.

I have stayed in an All Seasons and Mercure in the last 2 months, booked through QF Holidays, and QFF points have not posted. In fact the All Seasons in Melbourne refused to swipe my QFF card. I will now have to send a fax to QF service centre to try and claim the QFF points.

I do not like the fine print on the Accor website that basically mentions that only rack rate bookings are eligible for QFF points.

I've had the same problem with Accor a number of times, and I'm annoyed to the extent that I take my business elsewhere whenever possible.

...(I know Hyatt, Stamford, Rendezvous etc have schemes but don't know of any members). They can be worthwhile for some people.
What's the Hyatt equivilent? Apart from having Gold Passport elite status?

I think it used to be called "Club at Hyatt", but I don't know if they still run it. NB, it was only a restaurant dining discount program...

The Club at The Hyatt tends to be run by the individual hotels, with hotels other than your "home" sometimes offering sister hotel benefits. The Perth Hyatt runs it (and it includes some accommodation offers (or it used to - these days I am not sure they need to!). I am not sure the Melbourne Hyatts ever ran their own programs. Certainly, according to the Hyatt in Singapore they don't (Singapore Restaurants: Club At The Hyatt, Grand Hyatt Singapore, Singapore)
