I thought it might be a big mistake for them.

But their new songs are actually pretty good. And they use technology that allows them to perform as they looked in the 1970s.

"I Still Have Faith In You".

With some help from Qantas and Ansett:

Qantas:

Ansett:

And Frida singing as in the 1970s:

Some happiness for ABBA fans!

I am a huge ABBA fan and have been waiting for their new song releases eagerly....to he honest the 2 songs are not bad but did not blow me out of the water....and had to wait 39 years between drinks. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic?...and I'm not sure about these " de ageing" avatars...I would be happy to see their current and real age images but I'm sure opinions will differ :)

In a word. Yes. After making something like $4billion out of 200 million albums sold, yawn.

I initially thought the songs were a bit ordinary. But they grow on you. It's pretty hard for the boys to write a bad song really. Their post ABBA songs were probably their best works. But they are not really ABBA style.

As for the ABBAtars, they didn't want to be seen singing ABBA songs looking older. It's one of the main reasons they have never until now reunited as ABBA. It's an idea that's either going to turn out clever or a big flop.

They all have had post ABBA active careers. It's not as if they have been invisible on the music scene. Far from it. We know what they look like!
