AA's Admirals Club 30-day Membership: QF lounge access?

Almost considered this for my partners future trip to HKG, however it doesn't seem to include QF-flight operated lounge access back from HKG, so will stick with the lounge pass route.

The HKG lounge should be included for access.... or is there a specific exemption?

Hi, I have read the thread ad can't see an answer to this question. With the 30 day admirals club membership,can you still access the QF lounges when on a Qantas flight? I have read conflicting reports, as the admirals club website says:

From anecdotes generally you can.

There have been some ongoing changes to published access rules/T&C's over the last year or so however that really confuse things.

As noted these short term memberships soon won't be available.

You will be able to access Qantas Clubs with the 30 day AC membership when travelling on QF metal. Generally speaking, if the airport has an Admiral's Club, then you will have access to it only, and not any other lounges (one exception to this is HNL, where you can access both AC and QP)

Do you get two guests at QF clubs ?
The T&C's say its subject to the Partner lounge which would be one guest at QP.

I specifically asked someone in the QF lounge about this last year. They said that yes, Admirals Club members are entitled to two guests as per the rules on the AA website. I believe this is still the case, unless the T&Cs have recently changed (again).

3+ hours is fine. Jetstar not ok (reciprocal access is for QF and AA flights). Dunno about the 2 guests not flying.

• All domestic Admirals Club locations
• All international Admirals Club locations when holding a same-day ticket for airline travel that allows clearance through security for flight departure
• Select Qantas Clubs when departing on the same day on a Qantas operated flight or an American marketed flight operated by Qantas

• Alaska Airlines Board Room Lounges in Anchorage, AK (ANC), Portland, OR (PDX), Los Angeles, CA (LAX) and Seattle, WA (SEA) when departing on the same day on American Airlines or Alaska Airlines marketed and operated flights
• Select lounges operated by third parties when departing on the same day on an American Airlines operated flight

It seems these are no longer available- I just tried to log into AAdvantage to buy one and it's only offering annual membership. Are there any other options besides annual AA or QF memberships? There will be 5 of us travelling in February QF/BA/AA and (mostly QF) and there is one WP and one SG so we're short one access...

QF and AA annual memberships won't allow access on BA flights.

The 30 day [-]passes[/-] memberships were discontinued at the end of July.

Short of asking nicely for an extra guest I can't think of a solution for you. At airports with an F and J lounge you may well be able to guest one passenger into each.

Thanks for the reply. I did think of the option of using separate lounges. And thanks for the info BA lounges, wasn't aware of that!
