I have an AA booking for 2 pax which is paid for and ticketed in March 2010... both pax are Qantas FF and the FF#'s are assigned correctly to those passengers in the booking on the AA website, where I can see the details without drama. But... it's not available to view on checkmytrip.com OR on qantas.com.

Not that it's a major problem - there's nothing I can do to the booking on either site AFAIK but just wondering why this would be?

AA uses a different reservation system and so AA bookings will never appear in checkmytrip ( unless there is a connection to a flight of an airline which does use Amadeus )

QF uses Amadeus and since AA booking is not on Amadeus will not appear on QF

If the reservation looks right on AA.com, then all is ok

I've had AA flights as part of a QF RTW appear on my QF "my bookings". They didn't appear until after I'd done the first international flight though.

If booked through QF or if there is a Qantas sector then the AA information segments may be seen. Otherwise AA uses a completely different system and no information will be available in Amadeus for the Qf system to see

If your RTW has any flights on IB, BA, LA, QF or any other operator that uses Amadeus, you can look you booking up on BA.com, Qantas.com and www.checkmytrip.com.

What you'd see is often a subset of your entire booking, consisting of the flight and connectyion of the Amadeus carriers only.

e.g. I recently booked with AA a LONE4 with the following routing/carriers:

AKL-(QF)-LAX-(AA)-BOS-(AA)-MIA-(AA)-xDFW-(AA)-LAX-(AA)-xORD-(AA)-FCO-(IB)-xMAD-(IB)-TLS-(BA)-LHR-(QF)-SIN-(QF)-NRT-(QF)-xSYD-(QF)-MEL-(QF)-AKL.

All these show up under the AA Sabre PNR on AA.com, but on Qantas.com (& BA.com) I only see:

AKL-(QF)-xLAX-(AA)-BOS,ORD-(AA)-FCO-(IB)-xMAD-(IB)-TLS-(BA)-LHR-(QF)-SIN-(QF)-NRT-(QF)-xSYD-(QF)-MEL-(QF)-AKL.
