Anyone who has flown on this aircraft in the last few weeks. Are the F seats as bad as reports make them out to be. ( I think they sell F class but only in J class )

Sorry, forgot to mention that it is DOM flights I am asking about

I think the same aircraft are used for Dom and Int'l, but the J seats are sold as F on domestic flights.

FWIW I have found the AA 767s to be really showing their age. The F/J seats did appear to be angle-flat and rather narrow when I last flew in one. (Can't really comment further as I was in Y.)

It's a 'standard' angle-lie flat seat, similar to the Qantas MK1 skybed and others of that nature. It's not particularly comfortable unless you can sleep on your back... but it's an improvement over AA's standard domestic first class.

AA will be refurbishing around half of their fleet of 767s... the rest will be retired shortly. The new full flats should be expected primarily on international flights, but may turn up on domestics.

Generally AA 763 on domestic routes have NGBC seating - Far better than any cradle seat.

I have never had a problem sleeping on them -(FWIW I am a fetal position sleeper).*

In fact I chase them domestically - pleased to have one on a red eye LAX-DFW later this year.

*I sleep well on a QF Skybed of any mk

At a minimum the 767 will have NGBC, but the refurbishment underway is converting half the fleet to full flat seating (same style as LX/KL etc). These are already appearing on a number of international routes.

Don't forget to buy as 12 volt charger for the 767 as it doesn't have the standard US 110 volt AC power outlets.

I don't mind the F angled 763 sleeper seats as you generally get a nice quilt and blanket like you'd get on an AA international service plus with the seat design it means you're not impacted by the pax in front reclining nor are pax behind you impacted should you recline.

Don't forget to have one of their awesome icecream sundaes. The mocha one I had last time was the best.

....
Yes, the Car cigarette lighter type plug required ... I hardly use mine these days given most devices I have last several hours at a minimum.
