Sadly my wife didn't sleep due to the family with 5 and 7 year olds whose parents talked to them whilst they all had headphones on and were too lazy and inconsiderate to think about other people.

I have found noise cancelling headsets a problem when travelling with Little Miss (whether she's wering her Dad's, we're in J or she's wearing my WP J ones or the CSM has also given her J ones in Y).

Basically, she doesn't realise the noise they are cancelling, and yells/talks really loudly with them on. This immediately results in "Shhhh, take OFF your headsets before talking to Mummy/Daddy" from us.
Not at all the same as what Mrs simongr experienced. Am also trying to train Little Miss to touch the closest parent's arm (and we hers) when trying to get attention while watching IFE to avoid any yelling.

Thanks Katie.. There really is a big difference between WHY and J, great that you took photo's. I'm now going to put in requests for child's meal on some upcoming flights.

And here's the SYD Flounge kid's menu. Might change slightly for 2013; as the title indicates, it's an annual rather than seasonal menu.
